Templederry Renewable Energy Supply Ltd., trading as Community Power (CP) is Irelands first Community Owned Licensed Supply Company trading on the Integrated Single Electricity Market (I-SEM). CP purchases and sells electricity on behalf of its customers and is working to support and promote local energy markets within communities where citizens and communities actively participate in renewable energy generation and distribution projects, for the benefit of their local community.

Community Power has secured grid connection and Planning Permission on 2 x 5MW solar farms intending to construct these solar farms in 2021. These will be the first community owned solar farms in Ireland and will form the building blocks for the future development of community owned and managed generation in local communities.
